Zeno Group appoints Amit Misra to head India operations

Zeno Group, a member of the Daniel J Edelman (DJE) family of companies, has announced the opening of a full-service office in India, and the appointment of Amit Misra to lead operations.

Zeno Group India will work across key practice areas including consumer, health, technology and corporate affairs, it said. It promises a full suite of mainstream and deep digital engagement capabilities nationally.

“We are thrilled to be exporting Zeno’s winning model to India. What really sets Zeno apart is building our global brand with social digital at the core. This, coupled with Zeno’s challenger mindset and fearless spirit, frees us to deliver work that harnesses the new and interconnected content and media-centric world in which we live, to have a measurable impact on our clients’ business,” said Barby K Siegel, CEO, Zeno Group.

Amit Misra, who joins as managing director (India), moves from sister agency Edelman, which he joined in 2008 as director, Delhi NCR.

“With our size, proficiency and positioning, we are in a very interesting spot in a still evolving market. It’s a great opportunity to build a challenger brand that offers real time engagement – scratch up. Drawing strength from the DJE family and feeding off the entrepreneurial zeal that runs deep at Zeno, we will partner with our clients to secure their rightful positions in the marketplace,” said Misra.
