HiveMinds appoints Pradeep Saluja as chief operating officer
 
Digital marketing company HiveMinds, which is part of the Madison Group, has appointed Pradeep Saluja as its chief operating officer. He will oversee the profit and loss of the business and be responsible for its overall operations.
 
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, Saluja has held senior positions in several firms, including that of a founding member of the India business at Encore Capital Group. Prior to joining HiveMinds, he served as vice president at Sprinklr, where he led customer success for key accounts globally. He was also associated with Mu-Sigma, managing the profit and loss of a business unit with a portfolio of Fortune 500 companies. 
 
Saluja’s career began at Caterpillar, where he led west and south east India's dealer development and customer success teams. He was also part of the management consulting practice at KPMG.  
 
Confiance Communications secures strategic communications mandate for Euronics
 
Confiance Communications has acquired the strategic communications mandate for washroom automation accessories brand Euronics in India. In the past, the integrated communications agency has worked with brands like CashKaro, The Quorum Club, and Salad Days, and venture capitalists like Leo Capital, Eternal Capital, and Transition VC.
 
Under the mandate, Confiance will tailor and execute a PR framework to fortify Euronics’ brand positioning, with an aim to augment its impact and influence amongst stakeholders across industries and geographies. Deploying a cohesive approach to brand-building, the agency will also formulate the company’s brand messaging, foster robust relationships between the brand leadership and media, and create a dynamic content strategy to solidify the brand’s visibility.
 
Founded in 2002, Euronics has served over 5 lakh customers till date in India’s public and industrial washroom segment and claims to occupy around 60% market share in the country. With offices in 30 locations across India and four international geographies, it plans to replicate its domestic success in global markets such as the US, South East Asia, and Middle East.
 
AMFI partners with Mirum India and WebEngage to elevate investor engagement

The Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) has tied-up with Mirum India and WebEngage to enhance its flagship 'Mutual Funds Sahi Hai' campaign through innovative martech solutions.

For the past seven years, AMFI has successfully led the 'Mutual Funds Sahi Hai' campaign, under the guidance of SEBI, a cornerstone of investor education. Mirum India has played a part in this campaign from day one. Building upon this campaign's success, AMFI now intends to enhance its investor education initiatives by further leveraging MarTech; WebEngage will work in tandem with Mirum to foster more effective customer engagement, further advancing the goals of the campaign.

In prioritising MarTech for future initiatives, AMFI initiated an RFP process resulting in Mirum India and WebEngage securing the collaboration. By harnessing the power of WebEngage's robust platform and leveraging Mirum’s specialised expertise, this partnership is positioned to significantly enhance investor engagement and drive the success of the initiative to new heights.

FCB/Six India bags the digital media mandate for Plum 

FCB/Six India has been awarded the digital media mandate for vegan beauty brand Plum. The data-driven digital media and customer experience agency is tasked with the responsibility of creating and implementing strategies to fast track the brand’s growth. 

The account was won post a multi-agency pitch and will be handled by FCB/Six India’s Delhi office. With a strategic focus on Plum's branding, the FCB Kinnect affiliated agency is set to propel the brand's growth and solidify its position in the cosmetics industry.

Bata India appoints Deepika Deepti as new head of marketing

Bata India has announced the appointment of Deepika Deepti as the new head of marketing. Bringing over two decades of experience in marketing and business roles, including pivotal positions at Adidas and Metro Brands, Deepti is tasked with steering Bata's marketing strategies as it adapts to changing consumer preferences. Her prior roles have significantly influenced the sneaker culture in India, and she aims to enhance Bata's fashion and lifestyle offerings. Deepti's appointment is part of Bata India's broader strategy to remain the industry leader in footwear by combining style, comfort, and innovation.

Gaurav Banerjee appointed CEO of Sony Pictures Networks India

Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has named Gaurav Banerjee as its new chief executive officer, taking over from NP Singh who stepped down after 25 years with the company. Banerjee, an alumnus of Jamia Milia Islamia University and St Stephens College, began his career in journalism before moving into television. He most recently held the position of CEO at Disney Star, overseeing content for Hindi entertainment and Disney+ Hotstar, among other responsibilities. Banerjee is set to join SPNI by August following his resignation from Disney Star.

VML India's president Saurabh Saksena steps down

Saurabh Saksena announced his decision to move on from his position as president of VML India via LinkedIn. He was elevated to this role four months ago and was earlier the CEO of VMLY&R. VML India was created following the merger of Wunderman Thompson and VMLY&R. In the past, Saksena was associated with Red Fuse Communications, J Walter Thompson Worldwide, Mid-Day Bangalore, DDB Mudra Communications, Ogilvy Outreach and Clarion Communications.

FCB Kinnect appoints Priyanka Nair as national strategy director

FCB Kinnect has appointed Priyanka Nair as its national strategy director. Under her guidance, the agency will set up and run the transformation, expert alliances and knowledge verticals, recognising the key role that digital capabilities play in a brand communication strategy. Nair moves from Ogilvy, where she was executive vice president of planning and strategy. With over 15 years of experience, she was also associated with Creativeland Asia. Nair has worked closely with brands like Coca-Cola Nutrition, Minute Maid, Audi India and Tata Sky (now Tata Play). Her work has bagged various awards at the Cannes Lions, EFFIES India, EFFIES APAC and more.

Saurabh Jain joins BMEG India as country head-media

Saurabh Jain has been appointed as the Country Head for Media at Bharat Media and Entertainment Group (BMEG) India. This decision comes after the company recently welcomed Yusuf Merchant to lead its out-of-home (OOH), retail, and experiential business.

In his new capacity, Jain will concentrate on strengthening BMEG's offerings in India, cultivating a client-centric mindset, and providing strategic support to clients. He brings with him extensive experience, having previously served as the president of Havas Media South. Jain has a notable track record of working with prominent clients such as Nokia, Hyundai, Britannia, Swiggy, Ola, Puma, V Guard, and Joyalukkas.

Digitas India forms partnership with MoEngage

Digitas India, part of Publicis Groupe India, has formed a strategic partnership with MoEngage, an AI-powered customer engagement platform. This collaboration, part of the MoEngage Catalyst Partner program, aims to enhance brands' return on investment in customer engagement efforts by leveraging Digitas' martech expertise and MoEngage's technology.

Kakkoii Entertainment wins integrated mandate for HoneyVeda

Kakkoii Entertainment has bagged the integrated mandate for HoneyVeda. As the official AOR, the agency will serve as its official brand strategy, design identity, packaging design, performance marketing, social media content creation and management partner.

To create brand differentiation, Kakkoii Entertainment will highlight the importance of bees, beekeepers, and farmers, while promoting HoneyVeda’s founder Hardik Joshi’s vision for making cruelty-free honey. The food brand is already working with a few state governments to make high quality honey more mainstream. Kakkoii Entertainment will delve deeper into the category, culture and mind-set of Indians towards honey, while writing the brand strategy.
