Lloyd peeks into the Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh household

Watch the ad film conceptualised by Mullen Lintas here

Finally, brand rivalry might be put to rest in the Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh household.

Lloyd has released a film for its range of air conditioners that features both Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. This is the first time both endorse the same brand. Importantly, this is also the first category where both might not be endorsing rival brands as was described in detail in a campaign blog sometime back.

This film shows the couple in a conversation. Singh is thankful that they're married because he doesn't need to act like a 'boyfriend' anymore. He claims that as a husband he doesn't need to buy her a gift every time they meet on a date, wear good clothes, or text every detail of his life. Padukone replies irritably by walking away to her bedroom. As she walks in she's surprised by her air conditioner coming on. Showing his caring side, Singh uses his phone to put on the air conditioner and tells her that he'll always be by her side to take care of her.

Amit Tiwari, vice president - marketing, Havells India, said, “Lloyd is a crucial piece in our brand portfolio and we want to fuel this business as a strong engine for our growth. We felt the brand needed a fresh perspective and proposition at this stage in its journey and found the narrative shared by Mullen Lintas compelling.

The campaign also consists of print, OOH and digital.
