Birla Estates teams up with Vicky Kaushal to demystify real estate

The campaign attempts to bring straightforward advice to home buyers in a bid to make real estate purchase easy.

Birla Estates, the real estate arm of the Aditya Birla Group and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Century Textiles and Industries Limited, launched ‘Real advice with Vicky Kaushal’. It features a series of short films, a microsite and digital content addressing common real estate challenges and questions that many people encounter.

These films, featuring actor Vicky Kaushal, are designed to make real estate easy and simple for a wide audience. From demystifying real estate jargons to highlighting nuances of property evaluation, this campaign offers practical advice for anyone interested in the real estate market.

KT Jithendran, managing director and chief executive officer of Birla Estates, remarked, “As the real estate sector continues to thrive, with more and more people investing in their dream homes, initiatives like ‘Real advice with Vicky Kaushal’ play a crucial role ensuring that buyers feel well-supported and informed throughout their journey.”

Anitha Krishnan, head—marketing at Birla Estates commented, “The intent of this campaign, is to empower the consumer with the power of knowledge and information. We intent to do this with a holistic approach through microsite with blogs, podcasts, chatbot, as well as the films. We have created a seamless ecosystem where real estate knowledge is always within reach and the intent is to keep evolving this.”

Campaign’s take: Birla Estates’ ‘Real advice with Vicky Kaushal’ campaign is like a breath of fresh air in the often stuffy world of real estate. With Bollywood heartthrob Vicky Kaushal leading the charge, it smartly bridges the gap between complex real estate lingo and the average homebuyer. Who wouldn’t want Kaushal breaking down property jargon or sharing insights on interiors, making it all sound like a casual chat over chai, while drawing comparisons with his acting career? It’s educational, relatable, and feels like getting advice from a friendly neighbour.

What’s likely to strike a chord with viewers is the simplicity and honesty of the campaign. Birla Estates is clearly not just interested in selling you a house—they’re about making you feel at home in the process. By focusing on education and transparency, they’re positioning themselves as trustworthy advisors in an industry known for its smoke and mirrors.

However, there’s always the chance that some may see this as just another celebrity endorsement gimmick. For those not swayed by star power, Kaushal’s charm might feel like sugar-coating over the same old sales pitch. Still, with its informative approach, the campaign is a refreshing take that promises to resonate more than it repels.
