HomeLane takes a couple through a quick trip as new homeowners

Watch the film conceptualised by Animal here

HomeLane has rolled out a campaign titled ‘HomeLane. Guaranteed’, to emphasise the ease and quickness of getting one’s home interiors designed. Conceptualised by Animal, the film tries to tell viewers that they no longer have to stress over delivery timelines and cost overruns that most people face while designing their homes through contractors.

The film portrays the excitement of a couple, who are about to shift into their new home. They go around the house, screaming and feeling all the interiors and fittings, while a home interior solutions provider from Homelane waits for them in the living room. When they’re done taking a look around their soon-to-be house, they ask their provider if everything would really be done in 45 days. He promises the young couple that it would, and then hands them a spare key to the house. The voiceover then states that the brand would pay the rent, should their customers be stalled from receiving their dream home within 45 days.

Udit Mediratta, chief marketing officer, HomeLane, said, “The home interiors category is largely unorganised with almost 90% with contractors and carpenters. With this campaign, we wanted to communicate the benefits of working with HomeLane and not just to people who are in the market for professional interior services but also those who ‘might not have thought of professional interior services such as ours.’

Sayantan Choudhury, senior partner, Animal Creative Agency said, “Getting the interiors done of your home is not a task for the faint-hearted. But HomeLane provides a fabulous finish within 45 days*. As a person scarred in the past, by an overly-ambitious renovation plan, this proposition by itself seemed like an astonishing, momentous claim. And we tried our best to communicate that in a simple, (hopefully) funny manner. “
