215 new brands advertised in ICC World Cup 2023 over 2019: TAM report
The ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023 witnessed indexed growth of 17% from all matches in terms of average ad volumes per match compared to the ICC World Cup 2019.

Tally of categories, advertisers and brands rose by 42%, 3% and 34% respectively during all the matches of ICC CW 2023 compared to all the matches of ICC CWC 2019.
 

Among all the World Cup matches matches of the Indian team garnered the maximum ad volume share. Predictably, the semi-final clash between India and NZ and the final between India and Australia garnered the maximum ad volumes during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.
 
Together, the top five categories covered 33% share of ad volumes during all the matches of ICC World Cup 2023, estimated the report.

This year's tournament saw ad volumes of e-commerce wallets grow by 75% compared to 2019. 
 
Among the top five categories, two Wheelers witnessed 42 times ad volume growth over its previous edition. Perfumes/deodorant, pan masala and e-commerce wallets were the common categories among the top five of the 2023 and 2019 editions of ICC World Cups.

The top five advertisers collectively added 32% share of ad volumes during ICC World Cup 2023.
 
Among the top five advertisers, Vini Product (Fogg) and FX Mart (Phonepe) were the only common advertisers between the 2023 and 2019 editions of the tournament. Ad volumes of Coca-Cola India grew by 2.7 times in 2023 over 2019 among the top five Advertisers.
 
More than 55 new categories and over 215 new brands advertised in all matches of the 2023 World Cup compared to 2019. Among the 215+ new brands, 'Bharat Petroleum MAK' was the leading brand followed by 'Kamla Pasand Silver Coated Elaichi'.
