Honda appoints Grey Delhi to handle creative duties for Brio

Grey Delhi has managed to bag the creative duties following a multi-agency pitch for Brio, the new car from Honda Siel stable. Brio will be launched around September 2011. The mandate was awarded to the agency following a pitch process started in November 2010.

Confirming the appointment, Jishnu Sen, chief operating officer, Grey Worldwide, said, “Winning the Honda business is really exciting. It’s a huge brand, an exciting category and the work was just really good. Not only did we beat all the biggies again, it gives our recent success a national perspective. Now all our offices have shown they can beat the best and be a force on their own.”

For the record, communication duties for Honda Jazz rest with Meridian Communications, Delhi, while Dentsu Marcom is in charge for all the other car brands under the Honda umbrella, including Accord, Civic and City.
