Kiyawat comes from Research in Motion, where he was heading the company’s APAC marketing operations, based in Singapore

Madison Media appoints Gautam Kiyawat as group chief executive officer

Madison Media has announced the appointment of Gautam Kiyawat as chief executive officer – Madison Media Group, and he will be based in Mumbai. He replaces Punitha Arumugam who completed her notice period on 30 March. Kiyawat moves in from  Research in Motion, where he was heading the company’s APAC marketing operations, and was based in Singapore.

Commenting on the development, Sam Balsara, chairman and managing director, Madison World, said, “I am delighted to have Gautam join us. His cross market experience of managing brands, media companies and a digital startup are all very relevant to the exciting future we see for Madison. I am sure he will add a lot of value to Madison Media clients and bring a fresh new holistic business perspective."

Kiyawat has over 17 years of experience in the media, marketing and communications space having started his career with Procter & Gamble in India followed by stints with Philips, News Corp (Star TV) and AdVerb.
