Martin Lindstrom signs as keynote speaker at the AME Festival

Martin Lindstrom (pictured), author of the marketing guidebook Buyology and a consultant for Fortune 500 companies, will be a keynote speaker at the Asian Marketing Effectiveness (AME) Festival held on 24 and 25 March at the Pudong Shangri-La in Shanghai this year. Lindstrom will speak on the topic of ‘The Buyology of an Amazing Idea’, deconstructing the components that make ideas successful and how they can be translated into a branding strategy.The session will be sponsored by DDB Group.

Martin Lindstrom (pictured), author of the marketing guidebook Buyology and a consultant for Fortune 500 companies, will be a keynote speaker at the Asian Marketing Effectiveness (AME) Festival held on 24 and 25 March at the Pudong Shangri-La in Shanghai this year.

In addition to Buyology - Truth and Lies About Why We Buy, Lindstrom has penned Brand Sense and works as a consultant for companies including McDonald’s, Nestlé, PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, Microsoft Corporation, The Walt Disney Company, Unilever and Nokia.

Lindstrom began his professional career at BBDO and founded BBDO Interactive Asia-Pacific during his tenure at the network. He was also COO of British Telecom/Looksmart, and is credited with launching his own advertising agency at the age of 12.

Last year, the New York-based consultancy he chairs, Buyology, teamed with Hakuhodo to develop marketing-related neuroscience expertise.
