No multi-agency pitch involved

Royal DSM appoints Cumulus PR
Cumulus Public Relations has won the communications mandate for Royal DSM, a health, nutrition and bioscience company.

The agency will support the brand’s corporate mission of enabling better health through nutrition.

The account win did not involve a multi-agency pitch and will be handled by Cumulus PR’s Gurugram office.

Gareth Mead, senior director of global communications, Royal DSM, said, “2023 is set to be a momentous year for DSM and we look forward to collaborating with Cumulus PR and benefiting from their market expertise and communications insights. Together we intend to develop a roadmap of purposeful consumer and business communication that leads to real on-ground impact. What we are attempting to do in nutrition and health, as well as for the climate, are critical components of our story that we need to communicate if we are to succeed in benefitting more people across India and the environment around us.”

Reena Sharma, chief executive, Cumulus PR, said, “We could not have been happier about the opportunity to collaborate with a purposeful brand like DSM that has through its lifecycle proven that real impact and business interests don’t need to be mutually exclusive. DSM’s journey of transformation is highly inspirational, and we look forward to co-creating an impactful public relations campaign for them in India.”
