Nivea promises to be lips' BFF, with a song

Watch the song conceptualised by Interface Communications here

Nivea has rolled out a video featuring actor Parineeti Chopra conceptualised by Interface Communications.

The song celebrates everyday moments shared between friends, enacted by Chopra and her pals. It talks about the fun and fights friends have and how they’re overcome because of the bond between them. The theme shifts to the relationship between dry lips and Nivea Lip balm, as the message 'Just like me and you, lips need BFF too' is spelt out.  What follows are visuals of the young women braving extreme weather conditions, their lips protected by Nivea.

Rakshit Hargave, managing director, Nivea India, said, “A best friend brings out the best in you, and similarly Nivea Lip Care intends to bring out the best in your lips. The role of the BFF is to provide unconditional love, always want the best for you and support you at every stage in life. Nivea Lip Care will epitomise the same, a solution to every lip need, forever.”

Sunil Gadgil, marketing director, Nivea India, added, “Nivea - BFF song is aimed at capturing the importance of the best friend to ‘Bring out the best’ in you. The ‘LIPS-BFF’ aims to re-enforce the role of Nivea lip balm in taking care and in bringing out the best of one's lips.”

Robby Matthew, national creative director, Interface Communications, said, “The core insight that we worked with is that best friends are inseparable. All we have done in the film is use various situations to bring this insight alive in a cool, quirky way. Incidentally, the relationship between Nivea lip balm and lips is the same, because Nivea lip balm is always there for lips, any time of the day or night.”
