Adidas announces new marketing director

Adidas India has promoted Tushar Goculdas as the new marketing director for its Indian operations.  Goculdas has been with the Adidas Group in India since 2007, when he joined the company as director strategic projects and was responsible for identifying, developing and driving strategic projects to support growth and profitability objectives for the Adidas Group in India.

Adidas India has promoted Tushar Goculdas as the new marketing director for its Indian operations.  Goculdas has been with the Adidas Group in India since 2007, when he joined the company as director strategic projects and was responsible for identifying, developing and driving strategic projects to support growth and profitability objectives for the Adidas Group in India.
 
Commenting on his new role, Goculdas said, "The Indian sports goods industry has been on a strong growth curve and my primary focus over the coming months will be to strengthen and cement Adidas' position as the leading sports brand in India".
 
With a career spanning almost a decade in allied fields of the marketing industry, this IIM-A graduate has earlier worked as project leader at Boston Consulting Group, category manager at Colgate Palmolive and branch manager at Whirlpool.
