Kapil Batra joins Lowe Lintas as president

He will report to Prateek Bhardwaj, the agency's chief creative officer.

Advertising agency Lowe Lintas has appointed Kapil Batra as president at its Mumbai office. His hire completes the creative leadership team at Lowe Lintas Mumbai, which now comprises regional creative officer Sarvesh Raikar and creative president Madhu Noorani in Mumbai. The company’s senior team in Delhi includes regional creative officer Vasudha Misra, executive director and head of creative copy (south) Arpan Bhattacharyya and creative director Litna Das in Bangalore.

Batra will report to Prateek Bhardwaj, chief creative officer (CCO), Lowe Lintas to further strengthen the agency’s creative and strategic vision. He has over two decades of experience in the advertising industry, which includes leadership positions at Wieden + Kennedy India and McCann Erickson.

His body of work includes the popular ‘Paytm karo’ campaign, the ‘Share a Coke’ series, the evergreen ‘Mirchi sunne wale always khush’ (Those who listen to Mirchi are always happy), Yatra.com’s ‘Ehsaan mat lo, discount lo’ (Don’t take a favour, take a discount), Happydent’s ‘Dikha bateesi kar baat achhi si’ (Show your 32 pearlies and talk well) campaign. His creative genius has been recognised at global platforms including Cannes, D&AD, Clio, One Show, Spikes Asia, and Effies.
