Ogilvy Mumbai stood out as the evening's biggest winner for India at Spikes 2024, securing six total metals (one less than 2023) with a remarkable haul that included one Grand Prix, one Gold, two Silvers, and two Bronze Spikes across the diverse categories of this year's event.
The 'Megh Santoor' campaign for Brooke Bond was most lauded and brought in the majority of the awards for the agency— also notably securing the prestigious Grand Prix in Music for Ogilvy Mumbai.
Following closely behind: Leo Burnett with five wins, down from 13 in 2023.
Other agencies including VML Mumbai/Wunderman Thompson, Leo Burnett, and FCB Mumbai also clinched the coveted Grand Prix in various categories like Print and Publication, Creative Data, and Design, respectively.
Gold winners included Ogilvy Mumbai, VML Mumbai/Wunderman Thompson, and BBDO Mumbai.

Brand Experience and Activation
DDB Mudra won a Silver for Disney Star’s “World of Pride” campaign, while BBDO Mumbai-designed “Total Sports and Fitness Hotel” campaign for Total Sports and Fitness took the Bronze Spike.
Dentsu Creative Gurgaon won two Bronze Spikes for Vedantu’s “The Everything Book” as well as a third Bronze for Mortein’s “Suraksha ka Teeka."
Creative Commerce
DDB Mudra won a Silver for McDonald India (West & South)’s “Eatqual colour” campaign in this category.
Creative Data
Leo Burnett Mumbai’s “Smart Farm” for Pepsico’s Lay’s bagged the Grand Prix in this segment. Using AI and weather forecasting data to create an early warning system for farmers, “Smart Farm” is helping make farming climate resilient.
Creative Effectiveness
Two Bronze Spikes were won in this category, one by Ogilvy Mumbai for Cadbury Celebrations’ “Shah Rukh Khan—My Ad”, and the other by BBDO Mumbai for “See Equal #Sharetheload."
Creative strategy
Of the three awards won in this category, BBDO Mumbai bagged a Gold and a Bronze Spike for Ariel’s “Signs of Silent Separation #Sharetheload."

Design
FCB Gurugram procured the Design Grand Prix for Stir Magazine’s “Untangling the Politics of Hair” campaign.
The campaign aims to shed light on the pervasive patriarchy present in cultures worldwide. The film and the installation were showcased at the Art Alive Gallery Booth at India Art Fair, Delhi in 2023 which gathered momentum as a movement and showed the cutting of hair as an act of rebellion against those who seek to control a woman’s agency by controlling her hair. Numberous members of the art fraternity, media, and students donated a small clump of their hair in solidarity with the movement.
VML Mumbai/Wunderman Thompson won a Bronze for Times of India’s “#UnPlastic India."

In Direct, Leo Burnett Mumbai took home a Silver for Lay’s “Smart Farm."
