World HRD Congress 2010 crowns GroupM as 'Top Employer Brand'

The World HRD Congress 2010 has honoured GroupM as the 'Top Employer Brand' and has awarded the company with three Talent Management Awards. GroupM is the only media planning and investment company to feature in this list. Some of the other companies that had participated in this event were Infosys, Accenture, Aircel, ANZ, Apollo Tyres, Asian Paints, Aviva Life Insurance, Bharti Airtel, CavinKare, Ceat, Dr. Reddy, Domino’s, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, HT Media, L&T, TATA Motors, Tata Teleservices, Titan, Toyota,Tech Mahindra, UB, Xerox and Yahoo!.

The jury at the World HRD Congress was a team of educators and HR practitioners in the country, lead by Prof. Indira Parikh, president – foundation for Liberal and Management Education, Sudhir Goyal, executive deputy president HR – United Breweries Holdings, Ashok Venkatramani CEO, STAR News, Ramola Mahajani, MD - Human Edge Consulting,  Ketan Kulkarni, head- marketing, corporate communications and sustainability – Blue Dart Express and Dr. Asha Naik, dean, Indira Global Business School.

GroupM won three awards, one for Talent Management, followed by the award for the Best HR strategy in line with business and the award for the Organisation with Innovative HR practices.
