Snap Inc appoints Ankit Goyle as India marketing lead 

Snap Inc has appointed Ankit Goyle as head of marketing for India. He brings over nine years of experience from Apple, where he led category marketing and demand generation for iPhone and AirPods, launching 11 iPhone models.

His career includes stints at Google, Reid & Taylor, Aditya Birla Fashion, and Myntra before his tenure at Apple. At Apple, he spearheaded campaigns across multiple channels, launched INDIAiSTORE.com, and drove digital transformation for partners. 

In his new role, Goyle will establish Snap’s marketing function in India, supporting Snapchat's mission to foster self-expression and connection. His extensive expertise in digital and offline marketing is expected to bolster Snap’s presence and strategy in the competitive Indian market.

Paras Corporation wins Woods at Sasan's PR mandate

Paras Corporation has secured the public relations, marketing, and alliances mandate for Woods at Sasan, a luxury biophilic resort in Gujarat. Led by Saloni Mahajan Narang and Gautam Narang, the agency will manage the brand’s presence across India and international markets.  

Woods at Sasan, the flagship project of 1000 Island Hotels and Resorts, is a 16-acre retreat nestled in a mango orchard, blending modern design with nature. With a focus on holistic well-being and sustainability, the resort aims to harmonise with its natural surroundings. Paras Corporation plans to amplify the resort’s grassroots initiatives, showcasing its unique commitment to co-existence and storytelling for discerning audiences.  

Furlenco partners with ITW Playworx for strategic communications

Furniture rental and lifestyle brand Furlenco has appointed ITW Playworx as its strategic communications partner. As part of the collaboration, the agency will develop and execute a comprehensive PR strategy to enhance Furlenco’s brand visibility and strengthen its narrative.

Additionally, ITW Universe, the parent company of ITW Playworx, will provide an integrated marketing approach, including outdoor advertising and sports marketing, to amplify the brand’s reach across multiple platforms. The collaboration aims to position Furlenco as a lifestyle brand, reflecting the aspirations of urban India while leveraging cutting-edge communication tactics across digital, OOH, and sports channels.

Nikhil Pavithran pomoted to COO of Kaizzen  
 
Kaizzen has promoted Nikhil Pavithran to Chief Operating Officer. In his expanded role, Pavithran will oversee the integrated PR and digital agency’s operations, including its markets in the Middle East and North Africa. He joined Kaizzen in 2018 as Vice President and has since held leadership positions that have significantly contributed to the agency's growth.  
 
Before joining Kaizzen, Pavithran held roles at organisations including Percept, Fluid Media, and Eulogy. His promotion reflects the company’s confidence in his leadership as it aims to enhance its services and market presence further.  
 
RepIndia strengthens leadership with key promotions
 
RepIndia has announced the promotion of five senior team members to bolster its digital capabilities. Neelanjan Dasgupta has been appointed vice president of creative strategy and Innovations, focusing on advanced creative solutions. Durgesh Tiwari becomes associate vice president for listening, ORM, and analytics, contributing to significant team and client expansion.  
 
Other promotions include Sanya Sitlani as associate vice president for planning and growth, Guru Mishra as senior vice president for digital media and buying, and Nitin Sharma as associate vice president for search. These leadership changes align with RepIndia’s strategy to drive growth and innovation in 2025.  
 
Paras Corporation secures PR mandate for woods at Sasan
 
Paras Corporation has been appointed to manage public relations, marketing, and alliances for Woods at Sasan. The luxury boutique resort in Gujarat is a biophilic retreat focused on holistic well-being and sustainable design. Paras Corporation, under the leadership of Saloni Mahajan Narang and Gautam Narang, will oversee the brand’s representation in India and international markets.  
 
The agency plans to highlight Woods at Sasan’s commitment to sustainable practices and its grassroots initiatives. This addition to Paras Corporation’s portfolio reinforces its expertise in the luxury travel and hospitality sector.  

Havas Media Network appoints Pankaj Nayak as CEO for Singapore and SEA President

Pankaj Nayak has joined Havas Media Network as CEO of its Singapore operations and President for Southeast Asia. Nayak previously held leadership roles at Dentsu, OMD APAC, and OMG Asia Pacific, focusing on media strategy, data analytics, and performance marketing.

In his new role, Nayak will implement Havas’ Converged strategy, designed to integrate talent, platforms, and expertise across the SEA region. His return to Havas marks a strategic move to improve collaboration and operational efficiency within the network.

Sonia Huria appointed head of brand and communications at Maddock Films

Maddock Films has appointed Sonia Huria as head of brand, consumer, and social communications. With previous roles at Viacom18 and Amazon Prime Video India, she brings extensive expertise in brand strategy and audience engagement. 

Huria’s appointment aligns with Maddock’s plans to expand its content portfolio, including its horror-comedy universe and projects for streaming platforms. Her leadership is expected to enhance the studio’s communication strategies and deepen its connection with audiences.
