Mayank Jain joins Zee Learn as COO  
 
Zee Learn Limited has appointed Mayank Jain as chief operating officer (COO). With over 20 years of experience in business transformation and leadership roles at firms like Tata AIG, Titan, and Whirlpool, Mayank returns to Zee Learn, where he previously served as Business Head of COCO Schools and Brain Café.  
 
CEO Manish Rastogi welcomed him, stating, “Mayank’s expertise will drive our mission to align Indian education with global standards.” Mayank will lead Zee Learn’s operational and strategic initiatives, focusing on expansion into Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.  
 
ZEE5 elevates Shresth Gupta to vice president – marketing (SVOD)

Virgin Music Group partners with Hungama to expand reach

Virgin Music Group has entered into a partnership with Hungama digital media to expand the global reach of Hungama’s music catalogue, including content from SVF, Grassroute, OTV, and various film soundtracks. This collaboration will leverage Virgin’s global distribution network and Hungama’s regional expertise, providing new opportunities for artists and enhancing the exposure of Indian regional music worldwide.

Amit Sharma, country manager of Virgin Music Group India, said, “This partnership will help us introduce Hungama’s music to new global audiences.” Siddhartha Roy, CEO of Hungama, added, “We’re excited to bring Indian regional music to the world with Virgin’s network.”

DreamSetGo announces appointment of Daniel Dsouza as co-founder
 
DreamSetGo, India’s premier platform for bespoke sports experiences and travel, has appointed Daniel Dsouza as its new Co-Founder. Daniel brings experience from his role at SOTC Travel Limited, part of the Thomas Cook Group, where he played a key role in shaping the leisure and holiday business. His expertise in the travel and tourism sector, along with a deep understanding of consumer preferences, will be integral to expanding DreamSetGo’s premium sports travel offerings.
 
Based in Mumbai, Daniel will work with the leadership team to drive the company’s strategic initiatives and further establish DreamSetGo as a leading brand in luxury and premium sports tourism. DreamSetGo, founded in 2019 by Monish Shah, offers exclusive sports travel packages across various sports including football, cricket, and motorsports, providing access to match-day hospitality, stadium tours, and private meet-and-greets with athletes. The company is part of Dream Sports, which also owns brands such as Dream11 and FanCode.

Not Funny: Funcho’s comedy brand solutions debuts

Collective Artists Network, in partnership with viral comedy duo Funcho, has launched Not Funny, a creative brand solutions company. Led by CEO Mihir Surana, the venture will focus on scripting, talent representation, and brand consultation through the lens of humour.

Combining Funcho’s relatable comedy style with innovative brand storytelling, Not Funny aims to create engaging content across digital and traditional media, leveraging Funcho’s 39.7 lakh YouTube subscribers and 2.8 million Instagram followers.

Supported by Big Bang Social, Collective’s creator marketplace, the newly founded company will connect brands with creators to deliver humour-driven campaigns that resonate with audiences. This move complements Collective Artists Network’s other ventures like Galleri5 and Terribly Tiny Tales.

Indian Craft Brewery teams with 82.5 Communications

Bengaluru-based Indian Craft Brewery (ICB) has partnered with 82.5 Communications for its launch campaign. Offering experiences through interesting beers, including non-alcoholic brews named after mathematician Ramanujan. With beers crafted by brewer Antonio Rodriguez-Giralt and an R&D centre in Belgium, the brewery also features curated culinary offerings led by top chefs.

82.5 Communications is handling ICB's creative duties across digital, radio, and OOH platforms. The campaign highlights ICB’s storytelling focus and deep connection to Indian heritage. 

The Logical Indian joins forces with RVCJ Media 

The Logical Indian has entered a strategic alliance with RVCJ Media Group, combining its social impact focus with the latter’s reach in entertainment and culture. The companies stated that the partnership aims to redefine digital media by creating entertaining, thoughtful, authentic, and impactful content. 

With a combined reach of 4 billion monthly and 55 million followers, the alliance focuses on leveraging technology, vernacular storytelling, and AI-driven personalisation to penetrate tier 2 and 3 markets. This synergy is set to empower brands with content marketing solutions while maintaining The Logical Indian’s editorial independence.

Mohammad Faiz Rehman joins HT Media Group as national head of ad revenue

HT Media Group has appointed Mohammad Faiz Rehman as its national head—ad revenue. Brands like Hindustan Times, Hindustan, and Mint fall under the group’s portfolio, and the company expects these will achieve growth in its digital business under Faiz’s guidance. 

With over 12 years of experience in sales leadership, including roles at Paytm, Hotstar, ICICI Bank, and Tata Motors, Faiz aims to enhance advertising revenues and steer the sales organisation’s long-term vision and strategic direction.

PVR Inox appoints Traptika Chauhan as head of agency business and pre-sales 

Cinema exhibitor PVR Inox Limited has named Traptika Chauhan as head of agency business and pre-sales. In her role, she will drive strategic agency partnerships, optimise pre-sales operations, and advertiser engagement across the company’s media portfolio. 

Bringing experience from roles at Disney+ Hotstar, Paytm Ads, GroupM, and Publicis, Traptika aims to deliver distinctive solutions and revenue growth. Her appointment highlights the company’s focus on collaboration to provide value for advertisers and elevate audience experiences.

Brand Concepts Limited partners with Zepto 

Brand Concepts has partnered with quick commerce platform Zepto  to offer its licensed brands, including Tommy Hilfiger Travel Gear, United Colors of Benetton, and Aeropostale. This move rapidly delivers products such as luggage, backpacks, and accessories, catering to the growing demand for convenience among young professionals and fashion-conscious consumers.

The collaboration aligns with Brand Concepts’ strategy to enhance accessibility while maintaining a premium image. With a projected threefold growth in orders next quarter, the partnership marks a step in expanding its reach through quick commerce, starting with Tommy Hilfiger products. It plans to include more brands across additional cities.
