VivaKi Exchange launches VivaKi Nerve Center

VivaKi Exchange India has announced senior management appointments and operational changes for the region, effective immediately. It has rolled out a new unit called VivaKi Nerve Center, to be headed by Pavan Chandra (pictured) as managing director.

VivaKi Exchange India has announced senior management appointments and operational changes for the region, effective immediately. It has rolled out a new unit called VivaKi Nerve Center, to be headed by Pavan Chandra (pictured) as managing director.

Also, IMX, recently re-christened as VivaKi Exchange, will be lead by Mona Jain as COO. Jain was until recently India head – strategic investments. “IMX in its new avatar as Vivaki Exchange presents strategic opportunities for the team to leverage its powerful scale in India. Our media buying clout ability is already noteworthy, and as we move into the new brand our clients will witness the unique capabilities we bring to the fore. The VivaKi Exchange platform enables us to amass and supplement resources as well as invest in delivery of new tools, capabilities and technology platforms to clients in this dynamic and growing market,” said Ambika Srivastava, chairperson, VivaKi Exchange India. 

“I am extremely pleased to see the team being rewarded. Mona has been on the front lines for the past two, years, building IMX along with her senior colleagues. In her new role as COO I am positive she will be creating innovative and unique unassailable competitive advantages for VivaKi Exchange.” Ambika further added.

Talking about her new role, Jain said, “It has been an extremely rewarding experience to work in such challenging times.  Today’s market dynamics and vast media landscape including the integration of both offline and online opportunities coupled with the strong influence that the VivaKi Exchange will bring to the fore will be game changing. Jain’s team will consist of Sejal Shah and Shikha Mahajan, amongst others. Shah has been promoted to the role of executive vice president and will be responsible for content and partnerships, while Mahajan joins as vice president – expansion and alliances.

Srikant Sastri, chairperson, Vivaki India said on the new launch, “The creation of Vivaki in 2008 was a bold step by the Publicis Groupe to bring together all its media and digital assets under one roof, and offer a compelling value proposition to its clients. The changes being announced today are a big step in this direction. Apart from the re-branding of IMX as Vivaki Exchange and strengthening of its talent-base, we are also delighted to announce today the launch of Vivaki Nerve Center (VNC). The VNC will bring cutting-edge technologies that will provide a huge competitive advantage to Starcom Mediavest, ZenithOptimedia and Solutions-Digitas in the months to come. One of our most talented managers, Pavan Chandra, is taking over as the MD of Vivaki Nerve Center, in India”

A company statement says Chandra’s focus will be “on bringing VivaKi Nerve Center products and opportunities like AOD and the Pool to this market, launching new products to scale, as well as managing and developing relationships with media partners.” 

The company says the new model from VivaKi is an attempt to deliver powerful digital capabilities to the Groupe and its clients that are accelerated for the new media landscape. The new arm will consist of digital and R&D experts committed to building pathways between clients and their most important audiences across a digital landscape. Its primary function will  be to find and scale audiences that have the best affinity for clients’ brands, and who consequently represent the best opportunity for the marketers served by the Groupe’s agencies.
