Oreo Choco Crème has rolled out an ad film that has been conceptualised by Interface Communications and stars their brand ambassador, Ranbir Kapoor.

The film showcases the love hate relationship of two siblings. Kapoor, a young naval recruit, is leaving for duty. On seeing his teenage sister upset about this, he decides to cheer her up by comparing their relationship to the Oreo biscuit.

Kapoor tells his sister that the chocolate cream is chocolaty and sweet like him, while the biscuit is chocolaty and crunchy, once again, just like him. Annoyed, the sister asks Kapoor, 'what about the biscuit is like her?' Holding up the wrapping, he retorts back that she’s as loud as the wrapping.

The film ends with the sister chasing Kapoor.

Joemon Thaliath, chief operating officer, Interface Communications, said, “Oreo commercials have always highlighted special moments and relationships. In this TVC we have depicted the brother sister relationship, where the Oreo becomes a catalyst to brighten up the sister’s mood as the brother leaves for his duty.”

Chella Pandyan, marketing head, Mondelez India, said, “The chocolate flavour is the most popular one amongst crèmes in India & a key strategic priority for us. Our endeavour in the communication is to build consumer preference & desire for our lead Choco-crème variant. We have tried to communicate the delightful combination of a chocolatey Oreo cookie & chocolatey crème with the classic Oreo touch.”
